john deere 420 crawler , points plateing

Ihave a jd 420 crawler 1957,2cyl,6volt system,every time I run it the ign. points get a plateing on them so it will not start the next day without fileing the points.
Have replaced:points,condenser (3 times),cap,rotor,and coil, and it's still the samething.
Does anyone know what the cause might be?
