Hi T-Bone, thats good advice, and I do appreciate it. Really hadnt thought about that yet. I did file for short term disability, and got a little over 2 months of that before I went back to limited work. If I end up off again, I get another 10 months there. After that then my regular state disability retirement should kick in. As to SSA, I used to be glad I was exempt (member of certain state retirement systems in their lingo), now Im wishing I wasnt. I've paid in some over the years but still short a few quarters. And believe me, I know about turns for the worse, some knucklehead loosened a bolt on a stair rail and someone else decided to take it out and throw it. Had an ugly fall at work yesterday when the stair rail gave way with me. Boss is sending me to the W.C. doc tomorrow so who knows... David
