Most passage doors will swing out if you're in the room, the hinge could be on either side. But in most homes an entrance door when you are standing outside will swing in, most will be hinged on the left, but could be either way.Entrance doors on commercial buildings ,shops,etc.etc. swing out when standing outside, most of the time but not all the time. Usually passage doors are hung not to obstruct other things when in use. When facing the door and it swings away from you and the hinges are on the right ,it will be a right hinged door,I think.
