The name says it all. Not a native, but have been in TX for 34 years. Married a native Texas girl, and she still has........I mean I still have her! Texas is indeed a state of mind, you either love it or you leave it. The area I'm in certainly has a big draw of the northern folks as our population in the area usually triples in the winter. We welcome the visitors, but honestly we also look forward to spring when most of them migrate back north. They come from many different states each year and it's fun trying to figure out where they are from during a chat. Folks from Minnesota seem to be the easiest to guess and Colorado the most difficult (not much accent). The kindest and friendliest visitors hands down are from Minnesota first and Missouri second. The most rude and arrogant, from Canada....(usually Ontario) first and New Jersy second. No offense, just stating a personal observation.

My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed.
