I"m 99% sure I am buying the baler. I talked to the man who traded it in and he says it is good to go. He just got a bigger baler. He replaced the belts on the bigger baler he bought and put those (off the larger one) on the 504. He cut and re-spliced the belts he took off the bigger baler so they are all the same length and new splices. He also replaced four bearings while it was in his shop. Last fall he said he used both balers to finish up and the 504 only had 20-25 bales since he had it in his shop. No more than I will be using the baler it should last a long time. I"ll contact Vermeer the first of the week about the manual. Thanks for the info! Someone said the 504 Super G is the same baler as the Massey Ferguson 1440. The pictures of a 1440 look identical to me.
