I have a 87 GMC 7000 26000 GVW with a 366 carburetted gasser 72000 mi nice condition and the fuel mileage is terrible. Is the 427 all that much better. Coarse I only used it to run to the steel mill to pickup steel with it and was city driving most of the way.
