Not much on civil aviation, but I have been following combat aircraft since I got my first Janes Combat Aircraft when I was 7. Anything from 1939 on. My grandfather survived a B-17 crash on one of the Regensburg shuttle raids. My other grandfather worked P-51's that flew escort. I was in the same squadron 50 years later. I worked weapons on A-10s for four years and got to get up a cozy with most models 'cept them secret black ones. The highlight of my childhood was when a fighter buzzed my parents house. Nowadays, I have the History and the military channel to calm my nerves. On rare occasion, I also get to watch the Navy jets practice on a power plant near here. I have yet to go to Wright Pat, but my brother has. Does anyone know where the Enola Gay is? I plan to go see Bocks Car next month. I have seen the B-17 flown by the CAF, and would like to see more. Do they have a static display during the off season? Thanks for any and all responses. Let's go Mountaineers, Aaron
