I too am in the market for a pickup to pull my tandem trailer. While I plan on getting a dually, I was surprised at what I saw at the only tractor show I attended this summer. I saw three half ton/GN rigs, each with two tractors on them. One trailer had an H and a C Farmall; another had two Marry Harris tractors of about the same size. None of the rigs or tractors were low dollar. I have no idea how they handled/stopped, but apparently they did the job. In my younger days, pushing the limits was a challenge to me. I no longer think it's fun pushing the limits of anything whether it's a screwdriver, an electric drill, a tractor, or a truck/trailer. I especially don't like pushing the limits when the law is involved. The term, "long arm of the law" was coined for a reason! Glenn
