I don't think they scanned it for any codes, but I could be wrong. I have a long time trusted mechanic that has always treated me right and it was his suggestion to have the dealer reflash the PCM since he couldn't do it. I figured I would have him look at it but he doesn't do much computerized stuff. I have no experiance with any of the transmission repair chains are any of them any good? There are Three GM dealers near by and I know two of them aren't trustworthy and the other is expensive. Any places I should try? Places I should stay away from? Mike.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
