Five possibles for you. The throwout bearing wore through the diaphram fingers! Replace both and the disk as well. The pivot point on the pressure plate may have broken allowing the fingers to move in without doing anything to pry the plate outward. The disk can comeapart in the center and pieces can jamb up the disk remains within the pressure plate and keep it driving (real possible) The pilot bearing could be seized driving the tranny no matter what the clutch is doing. The throw out bearing could be not moving on its pivot. The metal can give up allowing the shaft or rod to not move the bearing on its guide shaft. This car (if I remember) has a spring under the dash to assist in clutch action. The clutch is so easy to push it is hard to tell by the push effort if anything is broken. THose are my prognostications. JimN
