Ford made ample use of Lucas generators on the thousand series, and they all had tach drives. There should be no shortage of them around unless they've been plundered for their copper already.... Why not search around on this site and find a Delco 10si alternator, for the Ford thousand series application, tach drive included. As I said, the most useful part in the Lucas generator at this point is the copper it will yeild at the scrap yard. Rod
