I'm renting a place and the garage that I keep my tractors in has a sliding (horizontal) door on it. When I first got here the door was really stiff, felt lumpy to pull, and seemed to get stuck half a dozen times across the track. Made it a real pain to open or shut. After a while it stopped and was great to use. Now it's started being a pain again and I can barely open/shut it. Any suggestions on what might be the cause of the fault and what I might do to fix it? Many thanks, tractorsam

Old Time Threshing - by Anthony West. A lovely harvest evening late September 1947, I was a school boy, like all school boys I loved harvest time. The golden corn ripens well and early, the stoking, stacking,.... the drawing in with the tractors and trailers and a few buck rakes thrown in, and possibly a heavy horse.
