We had 2 1965 830 CK's. They had the steps, square fenders etc , but did not have rear fuel tanks. The 930 and 1030 had the rear tanks. I have never seen a 830 with rear tank. They were both 4 cyl. gas and would pull 4/ 16,s anywhere on our farm. They were a long stroke, high torque low rpm engine that would lug down to 1000-1200 rpm and still recover and pull through the tough spots. 1800 rpm was tops. Don't know about the diesels but the gas is as carefree as they come.
