235s They dont even come close to rubbing even with 4.5 tons of dirt on. at 80psi. 85s may rub the bottom of the box when max loaded going around corners. With the stock overload springs. My truck is heavy 7200 lbs empty. 4 yd box on it. I put OL springs from a 86 with the bent over ends on mine. They help stop the corner roll. These tires also give me MAX braking traction. My tires are medium traction tread needed for dirt hauling. My plates have the dimples in them for the acorn shaped nuts. I just bought 6 16" off of a 74, wheels from Craigslist ad for a $100 bucks for all, with 3 great tires 235 LrE including 4 plates and 16 extra nuts. Just to have extras, out here those wheels (plain steel) are all over the place as guys are putting chromes or specials on. The junk yards get about 16s $35 ea 16.5 about $25 ea most of them will sell sets of 6 or seven for less. The junk yards are swimming in them. The splits ALL go to the scrap metal junk yards never sell them. Try Craigslist in your area. PS If you EVER need to patch a tire DO NOT let anyone put a plug in it period! Patch the inside and always install NEW HD valve stem for trucks.

In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
