That seems like a really good price for a to20 that runs. Of course if the tires and rims were shot, that would make a big difference. My 20 does have the hood latch. It wasn't working when I hauled it out of the woods. Since I had to replace the dash, I haven't looked to see if there was just a discoonnect or if a part was broken. I do plan to put the starter back on the gear shift. I watched my son's mechanic friend crank his te20 accidently in gear and only his young and quick reactions in hitting the clutch kept him out of trouble. I am no longer young and quick! Yeah, the prices on used bush-hogs and tillers at auction always seem to be higher than what you would expect. Tractor prices, on the other hand, seem to be unpredictable. I have to agree on the international cub - they are a neat looking tractor. My son wanted to buy one locally and rebuild the motor in it, but I told him I already had one project with a bottomless pit of expenses and that was plenty for now. I did a pretty good job of staying out of the cold wind today. I got the final coat of paint on the hood of the 20. It turned out pretty good, considering my goal is rust prevention and not beauty. It has a few minor dents, but like the guys say, that gives it character! Now if I can just get the body de-rusted and painted, I will be ready to put parts back on instead of off. I hope the EPA guy doesn't see the plume of red haze suspended in the air around my house. Take care,

But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
