I saw some real closeups during the game yesterday and I'm pretty much convinced that it's duct tape. Also, the patches are often different sizes and stuck on slightly different on different players helmets, and I also noticed that the location of the tape on the Chicago helmets was not rearward as far as the patches on the Colt helmets. I am going to get into some NFL website and see if I can ask a question about it there. Duct tape on a tractor? Probably find out real quick here on the forum, but on a football helmet?
