it's a rockshaft where you can put on cultivators. (lifts them up and down) I personally wouldn't want to put 3pt on a tractor of this vintage. (although they make them aftermarket) The two plug looking things are hyd. hookups, and these had to have been ADDED on sometime during it's life...because you usually find them on '43-ish and up model A's
