I used elbow grease, a paint scraper, putty knife, wire brushes and dental picks. Wiped everything down with kerosene, finished it off with a wipe with mineral spirits. My Farmall may not be pretty, but she's mighty clean. If I had to do over again, though, I would start by borrowing or renting a pressure washer.
