Farmer dead: carbon monoxide poisoning - tractor.

MENOMONIE, Wis. -- Authorities said a 77-year-old man who died in a barn along with 25 head of cattle and a dog was a victim of carbon monoxide poisoning. Verlyn Schleusner, of the Town of Wilson, was found Monday in the enclosed barn where a tractor had been left running. The Dunn County Sheriff's Department confirmed on Tuesday that the death was caused by carbon monoxide fumes from the tractor exhaust.
