I have a cobra 29 in my freightliner, got out a couple miles, stopped in fla at cb shop had the swr set, they trimmed my antennae, its only a 4 foot on mirrow, i can now get out about6 miles, which is plenty for me. my son picked me up one day he was about 12 miles away. he uses my old,old, old, ge cb, that thing really gets out.
