2 things I have found to be true about women and men. Women judge the degree of success in life by how expensive of a house they have and how nice the cars they drive and the clothes they wear. Men judge their amount of success by how pretty the girl is they end up with. Every generation is breeding a whole different generation of people. You have to play the game or you will be left behind. Lets put it this way, a man would be content living with a hot girl in a hunting shack. Most women would rather live in a $500,000 dollar house with some geek they are not attracted to than a $50,000 dollar house with Brad Pitt. Or around here they marry the geek to live in the $500,000 dollar house and the sneak around with the Brad Pitt lookalike at the trailer park. They HAVE to have that comfortable home base though. No getting around it. The better looking the girl, the more expensive that home base needs to be. End of rant!

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
