Thanks for being so polite! I was afraid what I had posted previously could have been taken too seriously. I love to argue, even with fence posts!

I hear you on parts, and agree about the Japanese vs. American smaller tractors.

I have a 1989 Toyota pickup with 500,000 miles on it, and a 1979 L225 Kubota that is still a workhorse.

I also have a 64 4000 (4 cyl.) and have yet to NOT be able to get a part (except for the infamous "Rest-O-Ride" seat) I needed from my local New Holland dealer. Parts for the Kubota are available, but awful damn expensive! Luckily, I don't need many.
