If you can get your second tractor backed fairly close to the stuck one, put a cross drawbar on the three point hitch of your TO, raise it as high as you can and chain to the MF as low as you can so you are pulling up on the MF and bearing down on the back of the TO. If you can move the MF at all, you've won. Do not jerk it, and go as slow as possible. With the Ferguson style of tractor, a straight flat pull is a waste of time. Use the three point hitch and transfer as much weight as you can to the pulling tractor SAFELY. If the ground behind the MF is too wet to do this, then the suggestions the other fellows have made are the ones to use. Like a neighbour's tractor, Good Luck and again, be careful. Tom
