I'm going to be accused of Sarcatiscisam now==Started in 1960, A "B"Farmall and a "CC" Case,80 Acres of rented Hills and clay.Progressed to 1970, 280 Acres of fair rented ground,30 Head of Holstiens in Milk, An AC190-ACD17-2-ACWD45-MM R-Corn Blight wiped out our feed, Dry weather ruined the hay Crop,sold out spring of 1971-Got Union Carpenter Card and went to work , Retired from Carpenters Union November 1999, Moved to Arizona into a House we owe not a cent on and Collect a Carpenters Pension and Social Security. But you want to know something? I still miss the Farm after all these years of not having one.Good luck to any one able to make ends meet by Farming.You have more endurance than I or you have deeper Pockets.John

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
