Rented 80 acres of hay ground when I was 16 (8 years ago) farmed that untill I bought my farm (400 acres) 3 years ago. Have added more rented ground. Now farm 750 acres of hay, plus a little corn and pasture for about 1000 acres of irrigated ground total, plus dryland pasture. Also running a 225 head cow/calf operation. With the number of retiring farmers in the area I could farm a bunch more land, but don"t have the time, man power, equipment, or desire to do so.
