IA GARY - haulage costs in England

Hi Gary; Yes $ = US Dollar The trucking companies are charging between $3 to $4 per mile here, due to the high cost of diesel and truck running costs. Ideally I want a "back-load" which is cheaper because I am only paying one way. With so little farm machinery being sold theres very few trucks hauling stuff to get a back load We are 155 miles away from our old home, cross country, up & down hills, you've seen the main roads here from photos I've posted on YT in the past. It takes me over 4 hours to drive back in a small car, cant get above 50mph in most places. Cheers David
