blue/white smoke is usually motor oil, diesel smoke is usually black...specially under a load. hard to say what you mean by grey smoke. does it smoke all the time or just under a load? diesels smoke...just their nature. i wonder what your compression is like.

i agree with the other guy...change your oil and filter. never hurts to KNOW your oil is good instead of just wondering about the color of it.
