I'm about to start the same process but will build the frame inside of the bed with 3X3 sq tube 1/8" wall and bolt it too the body. I've got 2 old loader cylinders I'm going to use for the lift and a 12vdc hyd pump and res for the hyd power. What size cylinders did you use and where did you mount them to the frame and bed subfram? I'm a little worried about the cab-bed but getting the impression it isn't a problem. I do have a real heavy duty hitch on the rear of my 80 F-350 and thinking about bolting the bumper about 4" lower to the hitch.
