There must be a story behind the name Muleshoe.
I had several Army buddies from Texas yrs ago...they were full of more crap than a Chrismas goose! (I mean that in a positive way.) Us midwesterners don't use such nice and colorful language so it's fun to talk with those army buddies now and then. My best buddy is buried in Lockhart. I miss him still.
