When I was in elementary school (MANY years ago) my grandfather passed away leaving our family his 1952 Chevy pickup. Being the youngest in the family my two older brothers had this as their first car/truck and at some point one of them primered it with a brush. 5 or 6 years later when I got my license and could drive it to school I used about 20 cans of spray paint and achieved a nice monochrome tiger-stripe blue paint job on it (striped unintentionally by overlapping, etc..). That paint job stayed for 20 years, made me cringe everytime I saw it. :-)
