Lots of ways to save money on cellphones Dave, but you're not givin' us enough information. How many minutes do you use per month, individually and in total? Do you travel out of state with it a lot? Who are the available providers in your area? You ought to be able to get a good 2-phone shared plan for about $50 + tax & fees, so probably closer to $60 total. If you don't use the phone except for emergencies, look into a TracFone prepaid. It'll run you $99 for 250-400 prepaid minutes, good for a year, depending on what kind of a promotion you can get in on. That comes out to about $9 a month. Something like that might work for one or both of you. Or, ditch you landline phone and go strictly cellular with a more robust minute plan.
