a good 1066 dont need a ta unless your useing it for a pulling tractor and need a split gear, i would pay more for one without ta anyday, if it needs a little more power to run the eq in the gear you want , turn the tork screw a turn in the injection pump, we have pulled a 22 foot cultimulcher with a turned up 1066 over lotsa acres , never out of high 2nd no ta, my son ran three tanks of fuel thru it one day last spring but put it over several acres, buy it, or send me the info on it i only have 4 1066 tractors right now sure would like another or 2 goin to a sale tomorrow to watch a 686 a 1066 and a 5288 sale

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
