Yep thats the easy way to do it. You may want to use a few boards, say start with a 1 by then go to a 2 by and then maybe a 1 by and 2 by. You need to get it up a good bit higher so when you try to put the tire back on you have room to play with under it or it will be a bear to put back on. Get it up 2 or 3 inches higher then what you think it needs to be that way you have room to move it around as needed to put it back on
