Doesn"t just apply to JD dealers. Years ago an uncle of mine owned a Chevy dealership, when someone came to look at a car, he washed the grease off his hands & went out with "em. He was gone a half hour a day, went home for lunch. After he sold [retired], the new owner wore a suit & tie - Get dirty? no way - Be there when he said? nope - He lasted but a few years where the uncle did 30+.
