I take and old tire and put it over the tractor tire. Just put it on like a steering wheel cover. I wouldn't worry as much about the front tires as I would the rear ones. It is hard to find a junk tire big enough to fit over the rear tires. The extra tire covering works very good on stobs. If your gonna use a trailer type brush hog the extra tire works good on them too. If you can find old bias ply mud grips, they work better.
