Engine ground is secure to the alternator bracket and the rotor is turning, but easy enough to double check, I'm hoping nothing has changed with the distributor, never know, but at least it's a small block chevy, not too hard to change that distributor. I had it running briefly after swithching out the carb, then had the plug wires misplaced on a few cylinders, forgot, tried to start er, poppin and snortin out the carb reminded me of that, checked them from #1 using the firing order, and position on the cap, corrected the them, but will have to double check everything again, if not the distributor, it's going to be something really stupid and y'all might have a laugh when I do figure it out is what I'm thinkin, sure gettin interesting, hopefully I'll get back in time with some daylight to fool with it again.
