older 7.3L powerstrokes (2002 and below) are the best. 6.0 powerstrokes absolutely suck with a low longevity rating. All the cummins seem to be holding up well. Duramax engines i personally wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. I buy used. I'll never have another new truck at this point in life, not with all this bullschitt manufacturing
