I posted this on here a long time ago but since it is snowplowing season I thought I would share this idea with people on here again. When the snow gets a bit deep for the 9n to plow effectively and I can't get the banks cut back on the sides of the driveway without getting sucked into the ditches I clamp a 2x10 that is 10 feet long to my 6 foot scraper blade. I just use 2 C clamps to hold it on and leave 4 foot sticking out to the right. It cuts the banks right down just like a gallion grader and makes my driveway about 16 feet wide. It takes about 2 minutes to put it on or take it back off and does a wonderful job on the driveway. It makes the whole yard a lot flatter too and keeps the blade from digging the grass or the stones in the drive. Try it, you will be impressed. It also actually adds weight to the back and the tractor will pull the entire 10 foot blade very well. Later.
