Problem is the square tubing. Get the right steel slug to put on the bottom of the sleeve and some hard threaded rod and I would think it should pop out. I think the square tubing is flexing instead of pushing up the sleeve if you are doing what I think you are. I think they make slide hammer pullers too but you have to have the right size slug of metal under the sleeve.
