For what it's worth, I had an accident 2 yrs ago. I rear-ended a car with my 1995 F150, blew the airbag and transmission.Had the truck towed home as I had diesel fuel tanks and tools in the bed. Got a car to run around with while adjuster worked out a settlement. Two weeks later, the adjuster showed up with 12 pages of 1995 F150 trucks offered at dealerships and private sales. Settled for $7000 then bought another (as is with far less mileage) for $4500.Paid $65. to get it saftied. First time I was ever treated that way and sure couldn't argue with the way they based their offer.
