In looking at your electric valve multiplier are you wired to energize the other valve when not using the button you have installed. As far as the pairing of differnt styles of pioneer fittings I have very seldom had a problem. Have you tried switching the hoses to see if the fittings work on the otherside of the valve. On your wiring you need to have only one wire hot for each function. If you have to hot both functions will operate simultaneously. Anothe thing to check is that your cylinder linkage on the tilt is free and not going over center. Don't laugh I had a similar situation on my 1066 and after changing all the fittings found that the bale spear needed stopps welded so that the cylinders couldn't retract so far that they sat on top dead center good luck
