Heh, I really don't care what color it is, but I'd like to narrow this LARGE field down a tad by at least knowing certain makes and models that came from the factory with the options I want. I plan to spend the next 6 months looking and researching, but it helps to be able to eliminate certain models (like the 49 Farmall M that was abandoned on my property that I'm about to swap off) knowing that they didn't come with the live PTO or 3 point hitch. I'd prefer not to do aftermarket stuff if I can help it. I'm in the boonies here, so whatever I get will have to be something I can do all the maintenance on. All the suggestions y'all have offered so far have been a big help. I wasn't really dead set on the row crop front end, but I *am* sitting on some of the most dead level land for a hundred miles, so I didn't think it would cause much of a problem. It's not a major requirement though, I'll just use the horses on the corn field.
Being able to reach stuff like the pedals and whatnot is a big concern for me, since I'm only 5' 3".
And umm, I'm not a sir either. =)
