I was serious about the water running off that fast. I did it right before pulling out on a 6 month deployment. Dad wrote me several weeks into the cruise and told me he had tried to rinse it off because it had gotten some stuff on it setting under the trees in our back yard. He said the water beaded and ran off so fast he couldn't just rinse it off he had to get a rag and actually make the water go to the spots that needed rinsing. As crazy as it sounds it actually happened just like that.
