to be honest, i only "collected" my '51 TO-20, and my '55 TO-35 after we bought this old farm, to bush-hog, mow, get firewood, and put in a few food plots for the game. i guess you could say i got 'em cuz i needed 'em. it wasn't til after i'd had them awhile, and started maintaining and working on them that i found out the "history" behind them, which was when i was "bit by the bug" (the fix 'em up bug that is)

they're still my workhorses and always will be, but i really enjoy working on them and doing the mechanical repairs, and even a little "pretty up" work once in a while. i'm getting ready to do a "refurbish" job (as one poster put it) on my TO-20. i do want to paint it as close to "correct" as i can....but i'm just a tinkerer...not a collector.
