Leon I'm told this is a problem with alot of Diesel engines I have a Ford Power Sroke and I use Ford FW-15 in it. John Deere also sells an additive for this problem.Here's what I've been told is in a Diesel engine air bubbles form on the cylinder liners creating hot spots,which errodes the liners on the water side. I guess the FW-15 and John Deere coolant additives check the air bubbles.Maybe someone could shed a little more light on this subject which would be appreciated,maybe even save an overhaul or two. later gman
