First time read you post, T-Bone. My heart and prayers goes out to you, your daughter and family. I can relate to your situation cause my own daughter went into kidney failure ten years ago when she was 7. She had a transplant at age 10 and just this past August, her body rejected the kidney. She has been on Dialysis since August. Two weeks ago, she had seizures and spent 4 days in ICU at Texas Children's Hospital. Released on Friday from ICU then sent home on Wednesday of last week. Our family showed llamas at the Houston Live Stock Show this past weekend and she was week, but wanted to show her llama. She did and won Reserve. She is 17 now and because of issues with her being under weight, she is not on the transplant list. It is tough for a 17 year old with an active high school social life to be on dialysis at home every night. I feel like the medical professionals is our second family and the Med Center is our second home. For on old man almost in his 50's, I sat many a days in tears in the dialysis unit of Texas Children's praying for all those little ones as they are in discomfort from hemo dialysis. These are all his precious children. Hang in there T Bone, your not alone. Duane
