T-bone I really feel for you .My 16 year old son rode his bicycle out in front of a Car traveling 50-55 MPH in 1977 and for the next 2 years our Family went thru a living Hell with all the after math of that accident,and that is what it was is an accident as the driveway was more or less hidden from Traffic view of a Public Hiway.The Driver of the Car had no warning that a Bicycle was entering his path. My son suffered ,Both arms Broken,Left arm compound fracture, All Ribs on left side broken,Ruptured spleen, left leg compound fracture,Skull fracture on left side, Kidney Bruise, left side collar bone fracture,Permanent nerve damage in his left ankle, Many,Many contusions and Cuts[He was thrown 65 Ft. according to the Sheriff] 40 days in ICU on life support, 14 Months in a body Cast from his arm Pits to his Toes, a full two years before he was able to walk on his own, He Graduated from Ottawa Township High school,Ottawa Ill on Crutches.
