Yeah, I know, we sorta stroke it compared to what other people do. I see some of the more prudent types use at least two big tie down straps to hold 'em on, one front, one rear, wrapped around transversely. The real optimists don't even do that. But being half Norwegian and born pessimistic besides, I would rather make a couple extra trips than have to go hire a lawyer if a few of 'em got loose at 55 or 60 mph on a two lane state highway.
When we just haul out of the field sometimes we put bigger loads on. I used to know guy up in Minnesota who would go down the road with 40 bales on his Chevy half ton. He was more optimistic than I was.
