Thanks for the advice. I will take your suggestions and put in antifreeze conditioner. I wonder if when adding antifreeze to any engine that is prone to this if one should use distilled water? It would probably have less iron and mineral content and less conductive. I would like to hear from others if they have had any problems like this with their 4030. Otherwise it would seem like a good tractor. Wonder how much $$$$ it would cost to fix it if it ever did happen? Any suggestions? Leon in Mn.
