Depends on what you're mowing. Are you planning on a lawn or just wanting to keep the brush down? If brush, I'd look for a 3-point brush mower (bush hog). If a lawn, the belly mount will do fine. Although I use a 3-point finish mower myself, I wouldn't have turned down a belly mount if I'd found one for a reasonable price. The only real drawback to the belly mount is the time it takes to unmount it. If you're going to leave it on all the time anyway, it doesn't matter. As for the quality of cut, my 3-point finish mower seems to do OK. The mount is designed to allow the mower to float. The mower has four guage wheels and will ride solidly on those wheels until the tractor is at quite a serious angle to the mower. This is true whether the angle is rotational (the tractor twists into a different plane than the mower) or linear (the tractor starts up or down a hill).
